I depart today for a hike in Vermont (Mount Mansfield). All my packing for the Watson, light as it is, has to be ready today, though I won't begin the Watson year for another week yet. Tomorrow I fly to Tacoma.

In the meantime, I have something for you. On Saturday, I had the priviledge of attending an Enter the Haggis concert at Plattsburgh's Mayor's Cup. They are essentially a powderkeg gathering of guitars, drumkits, and bagpipes - exuding Scotland/Ireland in punkish goodness. Sure enough, they had a song dedicated to Nessie, entitled "Ride My Monster". I've taken the liberty of making a low-quality MP3 for you to download. Hope you like it!
