I've just learned of another lake-monster of sorts, this one hailing from Germany! Kuno, as it's become known, gained its reputation by leaping ashore and successfully eating a small dachshund. Unfortunately, it apparently "passed away" during a remorseless heat wave. Now the debate rages as to whether this dead catfish is the dog-eating catfish. You can read more about it here:
