There has been a lack of updates recently due to my tempermental Tungsten, which, after its battery drained, lost all of its information. Fortunately, I had prepared for this and had all of my entries backed up, but I had to redownload the software and drivers in order to get my keyboard working again. When this first happened, I thought it was a drastic shortcoming, but I suppose it is not, so long as I'm near another computer. Nonetheless, I'm really disappointed that Palm cannot overcome this very basic problem. I'm tempted to sell it and just keep to the handwritten journal.
For my last three days here in North America, I'm planning on exploring the Caddy legacy further. At this point, Ogopogo is complete. This means I'll be exploring local contacts in Victoria, and hopefully doing some kayaking.
Oh, and I bought a new daypack, after realizing that this old North Face one has been giving me strange chest pains. Not good. In fact, it has for years, I just never connected the two.
Happy note, eh? Gotta go!
How dare you discard the great NF pack!?
Jim smells like an ape's colon
It just so happens I have an ape's colon right here and it smells rather pleasant.
Eh??? EH???
Get out now while you can! Before you become... CANDADIABUCK.
*dun dun dunnnn*
Now that I think of it, Bucko, I've been having problems with my equipment too, ever since the hockey stick incident. And the hockey stick relates to Canada, where you're having trouble with your equipment. So I think we've found the source of our problems here. Don't impale your junk on a hockey stick, or else Buck's Tungsten turns temperamental.

(holds last note longer than FB so as to augment the dramaticism)
May I remind you all:
EVIL IS NEVER IN FASHION

(off to SeaTac in an hour)
Buck, even though evil may never ben in fashion, it is just so much damn fun!!!
Have fun on your move to Argentina, and say to Sea-Tac for me, drink a frappiccino while you're there or something...
We too are a little disappointed in the north face trade in but hey change is good. Glad to be able to share your journey with you. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses!
